During the month of November, the Finley FFA Chapter continued its tradition of giving back through the annual Feed-A-Family Thanksgiving service project.

The Finley FFA Chapter is excited to announce that the Signboard Fundraising Committee has officially met its goal of placing 70 signboards for the 2025 holiday season.

On November 19th, Finley FFA members traveled to the Moses Lake Fairgrounds to compete in the Washington State FFA Tractor Driving Career Development Event (CDE).

Finley FFA member Soren Miles attended the annual Legislative Breakfast on November 19th at Tri-Tech Skills Center, joining Career and Technical Student Organization (CTSO) members from schools across the region.

On November 19th, Finley FFA members gathered after school in Mrs. Yochum’s classroom for a meaningful and hands-on community service event known as Knot Night.

On November 18th, the Finley FFA Chapter welcomed eleven FFA members and their families to the Ag Shop for the annual Family Fun Night.

The Finley FFA Chapter kicked up their heels on October 23rd during their fall dance, “Boots, Beans & Boogie,” along with Ki-Be FFA chapter members.

Members of the Finley FFA Chapter traveled to Grandview High School to participate in the annual Washington State FFA Evergreen Tour.

The Finley FFA Chapter is firing up the grill this fall with their FFA BBQ Fundraiser at home varsity football games.

The Finley FFA Chapter hosted its first AET Night of the year, where members gathered to work on their SAE project documentation and record keeping.

On Tuesday, September 23, Finley FFA members traveled to Yakima to participate in Career Development Events (CDEs) at the Central Washington State Fair. Members competed in tractor driving, livestock judging, and horse evaluation, showcasing their skills and representing Finley FFA with pride.

The Finley FFA Chapter kicked off the school year with its annual FFA Root Beer Float Orientation on Wednesday, September 17, in Mrs. Yochum’s classroom after school.

On Thursday, September 18, Finley FFA members Soren Miles, Trell Miles, and Ava Teagle attended the #TeachAg Day celebration hosted by the Kiona-Benton FFA Chapter.

The Finley FFA Chapter proudly represented River View High School at the Columbia Basin Junior Livestock Show, held September 9-12, 2025, in Connell, WA. Members exhibited beef, sheep, and swine projects, earning top awards and recognition for their hard work and dedication.

On August 12th, members of the Finley FFA Chapter took part in the annual “Farmer for a Day” event at Manterola Farms in Pasco.

The Finley FFA Chapter proudly represented River View High School at the Benton Franklin County Fair, held August 18-23, with members exhibiting livestock, small animals, agricultural mechanics, and educational displays. Students demonstrated hard work, dedication, and skill, earning numerous awards and recognition throughout the week.
