On Thursday, September 18, Finley FFA members Soren Miles, Trell Miles, and Ava Teagle attended the #TeachAg Day celebration hosted by the Kiona-Benton FFA Chapter. The event brought together both new and returning members, almost 100 attended, from across the district to celebrate agricultural education and the impact of ag teachers nationwide.
Throughout the event, members rotated through nine hands-on booths led by agricultural educators. Activities included experiences in ag mechanics, veterinary science, plant science, floral design, animal science, and more. This event, part of a national celebration across America, gave students the opportunity to connect with peers, explore agricultural career pathways, and learn more about the vital role of agricultural education.
The Finley FFA Chapter is proud to have been part of this special day that inspires future leaders, learners, and potentially future agricultural educators.
