
On Tuesday, September 23, Finley FFA members traveled to Yakima to participate in Career Development Events (CDEs) at the Central Washington State Fair. Members competed in tractor driving, livestock judging, and horse evaluation, showcasing their skills and representing Finley FFA with pride.

The Tractor Driving CDE team placed an impressive 3rd overall. Team members
Jantzen N. and
Landon L. demonstrated strong knowledge and safe handling skills in the event.
The Horse Evaluation team also had a strong showing, placing 5th overall. Team members

Mya S., and
Ava T. judged conformation and performance classes.
In the Livestock Judging contest,

Myles G.,
Rayanne C., and
Lukas I. evaluated cattle, sheep, goats, and swine classes. A special congratulations goes to
Soren M., who was recognized as the 5th place high individual in the goat judging class.
Finley FFA is proud of the hard work and dedication of these members, who spent time preparing and practicing for these contests. Their success highlights the value of agricultural education and the opportunities FFA provides for students to build lifelong skills in teamwork, leadership, and career readiness.
